Expedition 28: Hurricane Irene as seen from the space station on August 24

The International Space Station captured new views of powerful Hurricane Irene while it churned toward the Bahamas at 3:10 p.m. EDT on August 24. The Category 3 hurricane was moving to the northwest packing winds of 120 miles an hour.
